I actually thought the Wii U's touchscreen would have been a great way to create plays in the Create a Play mode.  Or to diagram how you want your players to attack or defend like a coach does with Xs and Os on a dry erase board.  How about listing your available line change combinations along with their energy levels?

I will still be happy with the 360 version, I'm sure, I just thought that there were some interesting possibilities on the Wii U.  Oh well, maybe next year.

Obligatory comment about how Nintendo made bad hardware that major publishers don't want to support. Carry on.

I don't blame EA because they probably wouldn't see a return on the investment to develop those extra features.  I just thought there were some cool ideas if they wanted to take a chance and try something cool.

You know, instead of this...which I own

Yeah, as much as I enjoy my Wii U its hurting for software right now. Other than what Nintendo has in the pipeline there is little to be optimistic about right now. I may not be a fan of these types of games, but I do realize that they are pretty important parts of a software library.

Glad to see your still enjoying NHL Slapshot, even if its just to make fun of it Wink

I'm going to take that as a joke since you used winky face Wink

I know that EA isn't the most popular company in the world (2 years running) but outside of some of the terrible decisions they have made, there are still great games that come out under the EA banner.

There are shit games coming out for every single major publisher. Electronic Arts had the highest metacritic average of ALL publishers last year, so at least they have the highest quality shit:

If you're going to make generalizations, at least back them properly.  Wink

Aren't Fifa, Madden, Need for Speed, and Mass Effect 3 the only EA games on the Wii U so far?  Personally, I'm not into Soccer or Football but I hear those games are all pretty good.

FIFA 13, Madden NFL 13 and Mass Effect 3 are all missing content from their PS3/360 versions and look the exact same to boot. Need For Speed: Most Wanted U on the other hand was a surprising port, since Criterion ported the PC version instead of the console versions, the game is much better looking then its PS3/360 counterparts. Now if only we would get the rest of the missing DLC...

EA would release games for the Wii U if Nintendo systems sold third party games, which they dont. Has been that way since the N64. As much as games cost now a days EA would release on as many systems as they can to make money. EA not releasing games for the Wii U says a lot about the Wii U. Ubisoft changing the new Rayman game to multi platform says a lot also.

I expect to see WiiU continue to lose support from major devs.

It was hilarious to read a top exec echoing the thoughts of many on WiiU not being a next gen console.
And other games have gotten pushed back until all cross platform releases could be made (Rayman something or other) which when that happened i said it showed that the pubs/devs had no confidence in the system.

WiiU is going to end up being a haven for shovelware, bad ports of MS/Sony releases and first party games much the way the Wii and Gamecube where.

EDIT
Also i do anticipate them announcing a new more functional touch screen "controller" like they did with Wii Motion Plus for enhanced accuracy.
