Some parts seem a bit too random though
To be expected. This is tame compared to their older stuff.

I managed to pick up a copy of Merriweather Post Pavillion a full 4 days before the retail CD version hits in the US. Cheesy

Believe the hype. Pitchfork is totally right on with giving it a 9.6.

I'm listening to the Blood Sugar Sex Magick and Californication albums by the Red Hot Chili Peppers.  I love their '90s work SOOOOO much, and I haven't listened to it in years.  Its quite scary how I still remember ALL the lyrics to the songs, especially considered BSSM is like 75 minutes long... I bought the De La Soul 3 Feet High and Rising album two days ago, for €3.99. It's the re-issue with the bonus disc. Smiley

It's great. I love the crackle of many of the samples.

I've been using Spotify a lot recently. It's a music streaming program, marketed as "an alternative to music piracy". It has just about every major album release, all for free. You have to be connected to the internet to listen to them, so you can't save the files for some other time. It has audio adverts every six or so songs. They so far all seem to have been for government things, like taxes and saving energy. The bitrate is 160kbps. If you pay for a subscription you get no adverts and a higher bitrate. It seems to work quite well.

It's allowed me to listen to some real crap without losing any money or downloading it illegally.
