Various Pink Floyd songs.

It's making me feel ill. Like, on-the-edge-of-throwing-up ill. Certain songs remind me of a very, very bad time in my life. I'm a bit unsure about these kinds of songs. Should I listen to them more to water down the old memories and make the music seem less bad, or should I save the feeling by only listening to them every now and then? Something to remind me of what happened.

Maybe you shouldn't listen to them if they make you feel ill.

But like you say, listening to them might make you realise they're just songs and not necessarily linked to the very bad time in your life.

Reminding yourself of what happened in the past isn't necessarily a bad thing. It could prevent yourself from doing the same things you did back then again. You could also interpret them in a positive way, because by reminding you of bad times, they show how well you're doing right now. Smiley

I'm currently listening to I'm On A Boat by The Lonely Island. It's such a stupid song but the hooks are ridiculous. It almost sounds exactly like Got Money by Lil Wayne.
