Found a few interesting musical kitbashes-- or "mashups" as the kiddies call 'em.

I find the ending on this one too abrupt.

This one actually works in a funny way.

Mixing Pink Floyd with disco: blasphemy or brilliance?

The Vikings History channel commercial(awesome show BTW) had me hunt down this song.

Listening to the Fast album from Custom now.
Here is the song many people would know. Depending on how much air time your rock stations actually gave it.... it isn't exactly a family friendly track lol

EDIT
I think i like this video better than the first one.
Plus it isn't Vevo so major bonus points

I'm presently listening to this...

...for anything that might be a negative influence on young people.

And I'm hearing quite a lot.

Though it's not nearly as bad as this one:

Rap and video games: the most hideous, most Satanic tag-team ever.

No wonder people are shooting up grade schools.

If I hadn't been disbarred, I'd file a motion to stop the distribution of this filth.

Here's a fun music video I almost forgot about:

Aside from that, I'm presently on an Alan Parsons Project jag.

A most appropriate tune for this forum... in more ways than one. Wink

Genesis, Alan Parsons, Weird Al......sometimes I wonder if we listen to the same music. Are you going to put up any Satriani?

Well, don't think me a heretic, but...

...I've never really much cared for Satriani's stuff.

Except for this one for some reason:

Otherwise, my musical tastes are all over the freakin' map...

No worries, I don't always think of you as a heretic.

Have you listened to the G3 version of Red House?

or the G3 take on Voodoo Child? Check out Malmsteens guitar and how the neck is scalloped top to bottom and how Vai uses his tremolo bar as a pick:

I could put up G3's versions of Smoke on the Water and Little Wing, I don't think everyone is ready for that though. Maybe you're more of an erock guy:

Check out his channel for more metal covers of games, movies and pop songs.

There's Victor Wooten too, but keep that on the down low if you know what mean:

Just wait, 'cuz you'll be itchin' to burn me at the stake in a moment...

I'm sorry to say I don't much care for the blues.

And yes, I am aware of the heavy influence the blues has had on rock 'n' roll and blah-blah-blah. I get it, all right? I just don't care for it. Sorry.

However, one fave group of mine that is heavily blues influenced is AC/DC, especially the Bon Scott era. A Whole Lotta Rosie is a prime example. The fact that the song starts, "Wanna tell you a story..." pretty much says it all.

I also don't care much for Hendrix.

Fly into an apoplectic rage all you want, but I've never understood his so-called "genius"...

...except when I see him perform. It's then that I get what people are talking about.

I gotta have the visual element when it comes to Hendrix; just hearing his stuff doesn't quite do it for me.

Okay, NOW I get it.

Out of all of the Deep Purple tracks I've taken my ear to, Smoke on the Water is my least favorite. It's almost as overplayed as Hotel California on classic rock radio.

This, on the other hand, is awesomeness defined and refined:

Two bridges, no waiting.

Hey, that's kinda relaxing right there. Just a nice kick-back-and-bliss-out type deal.

And that's often what I'm lookin' for in a tune.

It's the middle of the night, and I'm unable to regain unconsciousness.

The perfect time to whip out a few fave Saga tracks:
