Great album.

Yesterday at work: Mountain Goats - We Shall All Be Healed, Mountain Goats - The Sunset Tree, Mason Jennings - Bone Clouds

Safe to say it was a toned down, self-reflective day at work yesterday Smiley

Recommended songs: Palmcorder Yanja (We Shall All Be Healded), Lion's Teeth (The Sunset Tree)

Any good? I like the songs Gears of War and Sleepwalker. I have heard those 2 on the radio.

Listening to Minutes to Midnight again.

It is easier to hear it thru headphones than over the wind at 80 miles an hour in a car.
I'm not a huge fan of all the experimentation artists have been doing lately.
I guess this CD is either going to grow on my or stay in the meh category.

I'll probably throw in NiN Year Zero once this finishes up since i haven't listened to that CD in its entirety.

Give Up by The Postal Service.

Good stuff. A little emo, but good.

Expermentation is better than sticking to the formula.

Yea that kinda came out wrong lol

I liked every song on all their other CDs.
I liked the stuff Fort Minor did.

This new CD is starting to grow on me but i don't really like that.
I expected more to like it right off the bat so at firsst i felt cheated. Like after all the hype of a new album and waiting so long to get it and it didn't live up to their previouos works or my expectations.

EDIT
Thinking of it it could very well be that at that time in my life and the age i was most of those songs related more to me more easily and though i don't really acknowledge it my tastes/thoughts/general feelings have changed in the last few years.
Wow go figure!
/EDIT

Just ripped to the Zune
Breaking Benjamin - Saturate
Buchcherry - 15
Bush - Golden State
Bush - Sixteen Stone
Crossfade - Crossfade
A Perfect Circle - Thirteenth Step

So all of those will be listened to today/tonight at work.

Plus whatever else i end up ripping...
