His feedback his very high, and so I figured I would not need to explain the subtle differences in lables. Nor the fact that  many Gensis games work on PAL systems, but some collectors like myself, are a little quirky and fussy.

I would have figured that it would have been worth his time, to either reassure me that it is indeed Megadrive, or to say that no it is marked Genesis.

To my eyes, it looks like that might me a Genesis logo on the side of the box..

looks like Genesis to me too. also on the front where the label is slightly peeled it looks like a "G".

screw him, you're better off with the board game anyway.

Well, I've never heard of Megadrive Monopoly.  So, I guess it is rare, if it's on PAL at all.

When I was a child, I used to collect Monopoly stuff. I no longer do, as the rare stuff is expensive, and the common expensive stuff is mass produced crass. But I always notice when Monopoly titles come up.


I love the game. Smiley I am one of the few people I know that is familiar with all of the rules of the game.

Don't remember i the Genesis and Megadrive had the same logo but IMO the lower left corner has the genesis logo on the spine.

I think Monopoly did come out as the PAL version as well, I remember it being reviewed in MEGA a long time ago.

Thanks for the pics Mike.

I still think it isn't PAL.

That logo on the side looks angular like the Genesis not rounded like Megadrive.

Just ask for some more pics if your really interested.
