Recently at a discount store called Dollar General I purchased volumes 1-4 of the Earthworm Jim TV series. $2 bucks each, not too shabby. I just finished watching all four, what a bizarre show. I'd played some of the video games but wasn't too familiar with any characters besides JIm. I'm not even sure if any of the show characters are even in the games. Peter Puppy, Psy-Crow, Evil the Cat and Henchrat, Professor Monkey for a Head, Queen Slug for a Butt and Bob the Goldfish from Planitia de Agua.

Anyone remember this show? Were there more than the 8 episodes on the tapes I found?

I don't remember the show at all, but I do of course remember the games.  I had a box turtle for a year or so that would only eat earthworms, and so I named him "Earthworm Jim."  I doubt that I have any photos of him though.

I remember that show, it was messed up, all those characters were in the game and I think there were more than just the eight episodes.  Queen Pulsating Bloated Festering Sweaty Puss Filled Malformed Slug for a Butt was the leader, Dr. Monkey for a head was in the second one, Evil the Cat was the boss of the second level, psy crow was Jim's main enemy, peter puppy and snot were Jim' side kicks (snot wasn't in until number 2).

Was that the name of a single character?  If so, I'm not sure whether that's stupid, awesome, or both simultaneously.

EDIT: Also, if that is a single character's name, the next question is this:  How in the world did you remember that off the top of your head?

It was the name of a single character.  Her sister's name was Princes What's-Her-Name.  I remembered Queen Pulsating Bloated Sweaty-, but after that I had to look it up.

I just watched the show last night and couldn't remember the whole name.

It's a messed up show, in one episode Jim and Peter Puppy were sightseeing at the Worlds Largest Scab and in another having dinner at the House of Haggus.

funny stuff.

I looked up the series. 23 episodes, 8 of which were released on VHS. What I found is all that's available, too bad, I would have liked to have seen more of the series.
