Oh yeah, thats the only way to go and I actually like to think of it as saving time on the time wasting. Although if i watch a movie while i'm playing playstation i usually feel like i have to re-watch it.

I'd like another tv, because the one I have now doesn't work with light guns. I don't have space/money for an extra tv though.

I have a few reasons for the 2 TV thing.

1. Like Den and Leon said, the TV on the left is for games, and the big TV is for watching movies or something similiar, although I rarely pay attention to the big TV.
2. When your TV is as close to your couch as mine is, you need a smaller TV or the games look all pixelized.  (This is more for next-gen stuff than anything.)
3. And, finally, when I have other people over to play games, we don't all get a good view of the small TV, so I have a split signal going to both TVs.  That way I can get a view of the small TV, and everybody else can get a view of the big TV.

And those are my reasons.  |D

If i had the room i would have kept my old TV for older systems.

When i have my own place i want to have each system hooked up to a TV from around the time period it was released.
I could get one of those cool huge TVs with the wooden cases then.
That is a long time away though and i may change my mind on that just because newer bigger TVs are what i really like.

Eventually I plan to have about 3 TV's in my game room (when I move into a bigger place).  I want about a 36 inch to play most of my games on, a 20 inch TV/VCR/DVD combo for watching movies and sports  while I am playing games and one of the old console TV's from the 60's to play older systems on (like Atari and Intellivision).

I could probably find a use for another 25 incher too, but that might be overkill....

On my big TV I can split the screen. So i can watch TV on oneside and play a game on the other side.

Why would you want to watch tv and play a game at the same time? Games or tv-shows that aren't worthy of all my attention aren't worth playing or watching at all.

Well when I split my screen I had the NFL Playoffs on one side and teh XBox on the other. I dont really care all that much about football but I still wanted to know the score. Once the Eagles started kicking ass and teh game was over I just went back to the XBox on the TV with no split.

It's different if you are watching sports. I can keep track without paying full attention. Like Tynstar said, it's mostly just to keep track of the score.

There hasnt been any posts on this board recently, so I thought it necessary to notify everyone that the Webmaster is a bloody, bloody douche, and he knows why.

NOTE: The Webmaster suggested the term bloody, bloody douche. That's right, Fearless Leader.
