maybe the head is to be mounted on a stick in the ground as an offering to the beast.

Alla Lord of the Flies?
I am pretty sure they already spigotted the poor dead pig.

In other news:
My power went out from 9pm-230 a last night.
It sucked.
But i got a 2ish hours of reading in so it wasn't all bad and i am now almost finished with the book i was reading.
Too bad my little bro grabbed Harry Potter because god knows when he wil finish that.

good to see the younger generation is up on it's literature.

I hope you knew that from the book and not the movie.

yeah, me too. that and watching tv. though lately I've been back on a reading binge.

I'd like to read Lord of the Flies again. I haven't read it since high school, which was before Anthony even existed. though I have have a hard time justifying re-reading stuff when I've still got loads of books I haven't read. I am re-reading the Hitchhikers books at the moment, go figure.

I'd still have been happy had he known it from the movie, because it is one of the better films of all time.  It's brilliantly made.  The book is definitely a must-read, but the movie is also a must-see for anyone who wants to be knowledgeable in the realm of film history.  What floors me about the film industry is for the billions of dollars people spend on it every year, almost NONE of them know a damn thing about film's roots, developments, history, etc.  Sad.

P.S.  I'm not pointing anyone out here.  Just ranting in general.

There was this kid who couldn't of been older than 4 or 5 seeing the The Devils Rejects at the same time I was today.  You'd think his parents would realize that a movie made by Rob Zombie wouldn't be appropriate for someone that young.  The kid started crying about halfway through the movie and they wouldn't take him out of the theater.  What the hell kind of parents would take their kid to see a movie like that?  Granted it wasn't nearly as bad as House of 1000 corpses, but come on.
