So you think the kid wanted to see it, and draged his parents along?

What do the previews look like for this movie?

The would look scary as hel to a young kid.

IThe commercials made it look kinda like a video version of Manhunt IMO.

There was this kid who couldn't of been older than 4 or 5 seeing the The Devils Rejects at the same time I was today.  You'd think his parents would realize that a movie made by Rob Zombie wouldn't be appropriate for someone that young.  The kid started crying about halfway through the movie and they wouldn't take him out of the theater.  What the hell kind of parents would take their kid to see a movie like that?  Granted it wasn't nearly as bad as House of 1000 corpses, but come on.

It's funny you should say this, because when I went to see House of 1000 Corpses, the same exact thing happened.  There was this little kid, about four years old, in the theater with his stupid parents.  There were actually quite a few other kids in the theater as well, around seven or eight years old.  All of them were way too young to be seeing a movie like that, and most of them ended up crying and probably with nightmares for weeks to come.  People are stupid.

Yeah, since playing a Shrek video game with your daughter and encouraging her to read indicates that obviously you would take her to see an ultra-violent horror movie.
