Neat finds. I wonder how hard it is to find a 7800 in the wild.

A couple pickups from the local retro game store, known as, Game Quest:

Been waiting a month for Crabby to put these out. All I can say about these is...SEGA!

While I was at work Saturday the wife has found a new place to get games and she won't tell me where it is.  She scored everything here except the GBA, the GBA game, and the DS Case for $40.  The Gamecube is the one with the digital output so I could hook component cables up if I wanted to.  I was very surprised to hear she found a Final Fantasy XI Hard drive bundle CIB.  I wasn't able to find it in the database so I put it in as a hardware addition.  I guess people will let me know if it should go in as something else.  The GBA was at a new thrift store I went to.  They asked $2 and they were cash only.  I only had $1 cash on me so they let me have it for a buck.  It works, but the battery cover is broken and wont stay on by itself.  Planet Monsters was in the GBA so it was basically free.

Nice scores everyone!

When the mail gets here later, I'll have a (hopefully) big score to post. Look forward to it.

Final Fantasy XI is because it was only ever released as part of the HDD bundle:

Someone really threw that out? And why did they have so many copies anyway?

Something doesn't add up but nice score!

Okay, so as I said earlier, I would have a score of my own to show off, so here it is:

If you can't see the two games, they are Y's and Phantasy Star. The CIB game, as you can probably see, is Outrun. Not pictured are the hook-ups, which are a 3rd-Party Power Brick, an RF Cable, and a Composite Cable. Also not pictured are some GG Games, as I received WAY too many to take pictures of right now. (I used my Cell Phone to take this picture). I have a pair of the 3D Glasses coming in with Space Harrier, as well as Miracle Warriors, but they're not here yet.

Once I track down my actual camera, I'll take pictures of the GG Games I received (Approximately 30 of them).

P.S.
Anyone know what games are compatible with the Gun?

Those guides might just be more valuable than the games themselves. Nice save though. I've gotten Pokemon figures from the dumpster before. No shame in diving. Cheesy

That's how I got my copy of Einhander. I will never turn down an opportunity to tell that to anybody.

Hey now,

If you can't see the two games, they are Y's and Phantasy Star.

Just remember that it's pronounced "ees," rather than "wyes." You wouldn't want Duke.Togo to have a nervous breakdown, right?  Wink

Should have my latest Seven-Day Score Card blog posted for your perusal by tomorrow...

Actually, you should be very ashamed about dumpster-diving for Pokemon figures. If this were a perfect world, that would be a felony offense. One wonders how you can sleep at night with the knowledge that you've committed such horrific acts of depravity...  Tongue

That's how I got my copy of Einhander. I will never turn down an opportunity to tell that to anybody.

Now, that is a shame-free dumpster dive. I actually hadda pay for my copy...

Been a while but I felt this was worth a post.

A decent sized lot recently showed up at a local game store. I was very suprised to see so many obscure titles around here with most having manuals. I think I paid a fair price for most of these but I did have to shell out some serious store credit though.  Lips Sealed

For those that can't see whats there:

I'm happy to cross many of these off my list and a few of these I'm new to. Some I got to replace poor condition versions in my collection.

Also today I finished a trade with a local collector that got me a handful of boxes and manuals I needed. There are NO GAMES in any of the boxes.

Overall pretty happy with getting all of these items but the hunt continues!  Cool

PS: Now have a complete SILENT SERVICE  laugh
