That is awesome. I wish I had known prior to the release to take advantage. That original Mega man cartoon was one of my favorite experiences growing up without the luxury of cable tv and the extra shows and cartoons it presented in the 90's.

Recent gets. I got my first Master System cart. Still need a Master System. :x
I usually don't like getting loose discs but I couldn't say no to Klonoa.

I'm actually happiest with my next purchase:

I finally got a CRT that's to my exact specifications for just 8$. Right size, two sets of inputs, headphone jack, no DVD player built in, remote still included. It's not the Sony broadcast TV I wanted but this is still pretty nice. Already did my tradition of covering the brand logo with a Nintendo sticker.

My brief Googling says that it's a Sylvania CR202SL8. Am I right? Tongue

These may be useful to you if so:

Nope, it's an Emerson CR202EM8. Weird how most of the model number is the same though, even across different companies.

In which case, have this manual: http://www.funaiservice.c...SON/CR202EM8/CR202EM8.pdf Cheesy
It's probably re-badging for different markets...

Spent my weekend doing maintenance on my vehicles and watching my Broncos lose, so I didn't do any thrifting or hit any yard sales; I did, however, make a quick trip to my new favorite game store and spent about an hour hanging out with the part-timer that works there on Sundays. (Sunday is a very limited opening, just 12-5). I was spending a while at the Gamecube rack searching for as many games I could find under 5 bucks each, but after a few minutes, I compiled a very large stack of games I had interest in and had to narrow it down. I started putting back some of the games without manuals or that were otherwise in poor shape when the employee said he would make a deal with me if I took some of the titles that haven't been moving.

The original deal is buy 4 and get 1 free, so naturally I was trying to find titles all at the same price to maximize my savings on the final title, but he let me know any games off their discount rack would not end up being the free title, that he would take one of the higher priced ones as free instead of the cheapest one. I got these 10 games for $24.

$1 each:

Hulk
Mary Kate and Ashley
NHL 2004
Shrek Extra Large

$5 each:

Happy Feet
King Kong
Lego Star Wars II
Scooby Doo
Starsky & Hutch
Top Gun (Mastiff)

Sold my C37 this Saturday to fund this purchase yesterday. Being my favorite movie of all time, I had to have it. My C37 was a non-working project that was at the bottom of my repair list. Robocop is fully functioning (only a few cosmetic and minimal mechanical repairs) so it was a good flip and buy for me.

Here's what your friends are gonna think of you when they see it:

As for myself:

And if some of your so-called "friends" don't dig it, you can always tell them:

And it pretty much goes without saying, but I'll let Bix say it anyway:

"Ooooh! Pins, pins, pins!"

Amazing

Awesome

If you think that was something, check out Verhoeven's reaction when I told him about your pickup:

BEST CAMEO EVAR!!!111ONE1ONE!!! HITCHCOCK EAT YOUR HEART OUT!

Leon was pretty awestruck as well.

And Emil-- well, he went right to pieces when he heard.

Sadly, there are a few folks out there who just don't appreciate the sheer awesomeness of the original RoboCop, so here's a little something for all the haters:

I'll show off my latest scores a little later.

Until then...

UPDATE: It's a little later; time to reveal my itty-bitty score for the day:

- HC Minecraft Combat Handbook, $0.99

- CIB Voodoo Vince, $3.99

- CIB Crime Killer and Jam Pack, $2.49 each

- CIB Ultimate Codes for Metroid Prime, $2.99: Gotta love the knockoff-Samus illustration on the front cover.
