Does anyone here subscribe to loot crate? I was thinking about it but being canadian it's double the price. I understand shipping cost more but how do they justify charging more for the physical contents?

What it is is a box full of random nerdy stuff they deliver every month. For 20 bucks I'd totally do it. But 40 is pushing it...

I just checked it out.

Some nifty stuff in them but nothing i would be consistently interested in getting delivered. Plus it doesn't seem like the stuff would be resellable for a profit if it was a box full of shit you were not interested in.

The idea is cool but I'm kind of a minimalist (except for the video games Wink and if there is one thing I don't need, it's a box of clutter showing up every month.  Even if it is cool, geeky clutter.

Great idea (think I remember the guy at X-Entertainment doing this years ago), but I'd hate to think what my wife would do to me by the time the second box showed up...

If it was 50% video game I would bother, but that is only because I like discovering new stuff (new being a relative term for something I haven't played yet).

Saw Boogie cover it and to me it's a hoarders dream. Random shit in a box every month. What i saw was mostly crap. Personally don't want my place filling up with random junk. Esp when space is an issue.

Agreed. Looks like a novel idea, but my wife would kill me with a capital K!
