If I have an XBox Live account set up, can I switch to a different box (i.e. a friend's) to use my account to download content onto their box? Or is my Live account registered to my box and only my box?

Any feedback on this is appreciated. Thanks.

I do believe there is a way to take your account with you using a memory card. If you check xbox.com in the live support there should be instructions..

you CAN take your account to another xbox....i know that because i have switched my account between my 3 'boxes

as for DLC....my account let me DL stuff on all 3

the premium content to have to pay for on each xbox you put it on, but the stuff that is free to just download is on all 3 of my 'boxes

That's good news! Thanks.

Now a follow up question, though. How can you upload DLC into a memory unit? I checked Xbox.com for details but nothing specifically mentioned DLC uploading. Is it even possible?
