I hate the Yankees! Are they still in last place?

I am a semi Yank fan (i don't follow baseball much)
I don't like A. Rod though.

Especially after that stupid slap he made last year.
It was funny when kids were putting up pictures around the school of him with a purse and in a dress slapping away the glove and ball. Photoshop can work wonders.

I think I share this sentiment when I say that George Steinbrenner is the most evil man in baseball behind Bud Selig. It is people like him that use their wealth make baseball all the less interesting. Couple that with owners that don't pay anything for players (Carl Linder), and you have yourself a boring, not so interesting game for the smaller market teams, which is a shame since professional baseball started in one of these smaller markets.  At least, in consolation, they are doing terrible this year. I only hope they stay there. It would be good to show America that MLB isn't lopsided towards larger markets with more revenue, but then that would only be a facade.

A-Rod is NOT my Yankee of choice...we make so much fun of him, but I figured, hey, that performance deserves a big time congrats.
