Has anyone played RE2 on the Dreamcast? I've only played the PS1 version and want to know how it compares.

It looks better as graphics go that's for sure. I thought the controls were a little less awkward as they are in the PS1 version. It's been a long time since I played it, but those are the two things that stuck out to me

We need to start updating those old Favorites lists. Seeing them bumped occasionally will help people remember they exist.

i've never understood why all those topics are in a sub-forum called "archives" when they're still fairly relevant and could warrent their own sub-forum.

Grandia II, Soul Caliber, Sonic Adventure and the Marvel vs. series are some of my favorite games ever, let alone on the system.  Soul Calibur is really cheap (under $12.00 according to VGPC) and it looks like Grandia II goes for about $30.00 on there.

Are Sonic Adventure, Shenmue, or Seaman very expensive?

It depends on your idea of what is expensive.

These games are in the 25-30.00 range usually. Seaman can be bought for cheaper without the microphone. Although you need the mic to play so expect to pay around 35.00 bucks for the game & mic together.

cheapest  NTSC Dreamcast Sonic Adventure right now on eBay is 17 dollars, shipped. 35 shipped for shenmue- wow, that's surprising. I bought mine in 2001 from a friend for 5 dollars. didn't look up seaman

it seems to me that any CIB game that was made prior to the PS2 era and is considered to be "fun" can't be had for less than 30 dollars these days. what surprises me most is Smash Bros. 64 going for 50 dollars on the low end. I had been accustomed to seeing the sought after N64 carts go for 25-35 dollars.

Phantasy Star IV is one of my all time favorite rpgs, and one of the few games I've actually completed.
