Had a big haul over the weekend! Back at the end of June, an acquaintance of mine out in KC reached out and said he found a bunch of "old Nintendo Powers" and wanted to know if I wanted them for free or he was going to throw them out. Being in STL I told him I would love to have them but wasn't sure if it was worth it for the drive. I did ask if he had issue #1 by chance and it turned out he did! Now I was more interested. I told him it was worth a bit and we worked out a price for everything. After we worked out the price for the magazines, he mentioned he'd throw in a box of random game stuff he found too. Yes it went from free to paid but I'm not out to screw anyone over and I had no idea what might be in the other box but it was all a bonus at that point. He was cool and agreed to meet me half way in Columbia, MO to do the exchange. I was finally able to get out there today to make the exchange yesterday. Pictures 1 and 2 are what I got from the deal. Nothing too crazy but a lot of solid titles. Last pic is some finds from hitting up the V-Stock and Slackers in Columbia.

That is a killer pickup and a great story to go along with it!

Ooh, Aerial Assault! I need to snag a copy of that, at some point. I have the Game Gear version, but not the SMS release, which is different. Nice get on Mario Kart Wii at Goodwill price! I remember looking for that as a new release for months, and not being able to find a copy in any store in my area. Then one day, suddenly Walmart had a big display with a ton of copies, and I finally scored one.

I can't believe this find I got.  Game isn't even open and the Pokewalker hasn't been used:

Hey now!

Just checking in to let you know that I'm still doing gaming scores, even if it's on an infrequent basis.

ANYway, here goes:

And that's it for now; see you in another six months.

I needed the box to complete my copy of Fantasy Zone II so if anyone wants just the cart, let me know!:

I'm so stoked for this one!  Another find at a thrift store druing lunch.  I've only seen to Jaguars in the wild except when at retail, which I've bough both and this is the only time I've seen a Jaguar CD system.  Paid $375 after tax so I had to jump on it!
