This thread is pretty self explanitory, just rant about what pisses you off.

I'll go first.
This computer is really pissing me off.  When I started here last monday, they sent me and the other guy up to Norwood (where the warehouse is) to pick up two computers.  We return with two POS 266MHz Pentium II's, replete with 64MB of ram.  We are told to put XP on them.  !!!!!!!!!! For those of you not im the know, 266MHz is about an order or magnitude slower than the base XP requirements.   As you might imagine this beast must use quite a bit of vitrual memory to run.  Here is the problem.   The hard drive is only 3GB, meaning that after XP, SP2 and the business software are loaded, there is a grand total of 166 MB of hard disk space left.

I did find a way to make this computer faster though.  I am currently remotely connecting to my computer at home, and it is actualy faster than this piece of shit, even when you factor my slow connection speed!

Anyways, have at it.

BTW, the [rant] tag has officially been disabled for this thread, as there is no need for it.

Have fun!

I spent almost 600 bucks on an acer lcd monitor about 1,5 years ago. It started messing up some time back, so I sent it back for repair. Instead of a repaired monitor, I get a scratched monitor back. There are several small, yet mighty annoying, scratches in the middle of the screen.

So I immediately call back to tell them my monitor still wasn't working right and that it now had scrachtes. They told me to send it back again, so I did.

Today I got it back and guess what? The scratches are still there! And this time they didn't bother to give me back my standard either. So I called Acer again to explain the situation. The guy on the phone told me the people at the repair centre said that the scraches were there when they go it, so it was his word against mine. I make a bit of a fuss and he talks to his supervisor (probably smoke a cigarette). He then tells me to send them a written explenation and they might get me a new one.

Those fucking bastards should give me one right away. I pay almost 600 bucks for a stupid monitor and treat it like it's my baby, then when it stops working, because they can't build a proper monitor, they break it even further and blame me.

I have to do 5 8 hour counts on Northbend Rd. before the end of the term. 40 hours counting cars, damn that sucks. It could be worse though, I could be buying an Apple.

European Constitution and the way it's handled in this country.

People that park their bikes/mopes in 3 bike parking spaces. bastards!

It's so horribly hot.

My cycling outfit which, at the moment, is smelling worse than anything else I've ever smelled, but I want to cycle and it's the only thing I have.

I'd just like to say that my name is Mike, and I work too much.  If I didn't like the people I work with a lot, I would probably quit my job, because I kind of hate it.

Hello Mike.

My name is Dave, I was Kings Island's Bitch, and due to my coop employment I was not able to work there this season. I guess I am ok with that though, as PKI worked me more than Mike will ever be worked at Jungle Jim's, and I was also double-crossed more times in my tenure there than Mike will ever be. It was so bad that my friends assumed that I was working everyday and that if I wasn't working I would call them. To an extent, that was true.

If I didn't have friends there I don't think I would have stayed for 4 years, and I don't think I would secretly want to return this season, even after all the hell I went through last year. I miss the late night trips to Steak n' Shake, only to have to return to the park early the next morning to open the location. Ah, such the life of a manager.
