I've realised if you can do Mission 1 without losing a life then you can get over 500000. Can't do Mission 2 at the end without losing a life yet but I managesd to get a score over 700000 and I messed up trying to save a pic of the score. I can't do it it again to prove it it  Smiley

My fault but I realise that if I can do the first two missions without losing a life then I can get a score to compete. Loving the competition, cheers guys. Merry Christmas to you all.  Cool

Wow, that's insane!  I didn't realize it compounded that much in a single life.  I'm going to have to try harder to get through Mission 1 w/o a scratch!

Now THIS is more like it!  I kept playing Mission 1 until I got through on a single life, and you're right, FatherJack - I ended up with 530K points on the first mission alone!  This puts me in either 3rd or 4th place at the moment, I can't remember which:

So, on the first level, does under water or above ground get you more points?

Not sure which is more points. I go overhead without getting on the boat. To me, its easier and a better way to conserve lives. Underwater is tough

I take the boat.  I'm not sure if you get more points that way, but by going that way I can clear the first level without dying (don't think I could manage that going underwater), plus you get a bunch of POWs that drop from the vines.  I usually clear the first level with 600k-700k points.

Last official day for Metal Slug 3. If you have not played it yet, you need to do so today to improve your Battle Royale score over the last few days.
