- Saturday morning cartoons didn't suck

When we had those, sure.  There hasn't been any for years.  The closest thing to those are CGI shows now.

You guys want 80's cartoons?  Check this out:

http://www.80scartoons.net/

If I remember correctly they used to sell VHS tapes back when finding some of the cartoons was impossible.  Now it is a massive shrine reminding us just how awesome and how many cartoons there were.

Remember when King Size candy bars could be purchased with a $1 bill?

I go there every once in awhile.  The site hasn't been updated in awhile, though.

Fifty cents?! *SCOFF* I remember when I could get a candy bar at 7-11 for 35 cents! You kids just don't know how good you have it...

In other 1980s nostalgia news: as some of you may have guessed by looking at my latest posts on the Small Toy Scores thread, I'm on a bit of a Transformers jag right now. I ended up making matters worse by checking out some cutscenes from Transformers Devastation...

...and now I'm debating whether to get it for PS3... or 360. Pretty cool that they got the main voice actors reprising their roles, particularly Optimus and Megatron. It doesn't hurt that the game is sort-of named after the most badass combiner of them all. Oh, and Blitzwing-- can't forget Blitzwing.

Quite easily, thank you very much. And I was trying so hard to keep those memories suppressed, too. Now I gotta go back on the meds, no thanks to you...  Angry

So going to get this when it goes back on sale or when money permits otherwise.

Is it wrong of me to be disappointed that Pac-Man didn't have a second costume in Smash Bros to make him look like this?

Shame you don't live stateside; it's currently on special at Target for $29.99 US (plus sales tax where applicable) for the 360, X-Bone, and PS4.

I grabbed my own sealed copy off eBay a few weeks back...

...which immediately lead to a knock-down drag-out over who'd be the first to play it.

Needless to say, Megs and Devastator were not pleased when they found out you could only play as an Autobot.
