Last night I watched The Hidden.  It is about an alien that uses humans as host bodies.  For fun, he steals cars, listens to sweet heavy metal, and goes on violent rampages until the host body is useless.  Then, it changes bodies.  Of course, somebody has to do something about it.

The movie is kind of predictable, but if you are just in the mood for great mindless entertainment, this is a movie you should check out.  The soundtrack is soooooo good, and it's really just a fun movie to watch.  I kind of expected it to be boring B movie crap, but was surprised when it totally blew me away (like any good 80's movie should).

Has anybody seen this or the sequel?  I may have to check that one out too.

My dad loves these kinds of movies.  I'll have to tell him about it.

The Hidden Fortress is another great movie, but it is on such a higher level than this movie.  You can't really compare them since they attempt to do such different things.  Akira Kurosawa was a genius of film, whereas this guy just knows that explosions, alien monster parasites, and heavy metal are a sweet combination.
