Cincinnati Marshals Improve to 5-5

Last night, the Perl, TraderJake, and our unregistered (BAD!) friend finally went to a Cincinnati Marshals game. It was pretty darn cool. For those that don't know, they are an NIFL team. For $10 a ticket, we had seats at about the 20 yard line (25 is the center since this is after all indoor), six rows back. In other words, we had really good seats.
The game was against the Rome Renegades, and we won, 43-33. I can't say that indoor football is as fun to watch as "real" football, but it was cool, especially since I still have a considerable wait till NCAA games start up in September.
I did take a few photos, but sadly I had no tripod and no flash unit so many of them were kind of shitty. Regardless, here are a few.

umm... i thought that the coaching staff quit this past week cause they did not get paid.
also i heard that their equipment got repo'd and the league had to send out pads and stuff for them last week, just so they could play.
did you see a coashing staff on the side lines at all?
kelly and my sister went to a game cause one of them got free tickets, they also said it was a good time. and that the fireworks show was insane.

The coaching staff did quit apparently, but there were new coaches. It said something about the team looking to get their "first win under a new coaching staff" or something. They got it. The Diamond Deputies were not there at all. I guess they weren't getting paid either. And, there was no fireworks show. Still, a very good time.
I sure hope they are able to come back to play next year. It would kind of suck if they turn out like the Swarm.

Overall it was a fun game, but if all turns out bad in the end and they have to pull between getting a hockey team and a indoor football team, please bring back the 'Clones.

Looks like there was about 100 people in the stands. That can't be good.

Let me know when you go to another game, I would like to see them.
Plus, it looks like they could use every person they can get.

There were two or three thousand people there I think. The pictures that show the stands super empty that I posted were taken during the pre-game practice. Don't get me wrong - the stands were still pretty darn empty - but not as much as they were when I took those photos before the game.
@Dave - No. Football > Hockey. Duh. You're supposed to be good at math. Just because you're doing calculus now doesn't mean you can just forget your inequalities.
@Jay - Sure thing. Their last home game of the year is June 25th I think. I definitely plan on going.
