The 4th of July

Anyone doing anything special for the 4th of July?

I'm still trying to find something.  I'll probably just buy some fireworks tomorrow and blow some stuff up.

I'm not doing anything special, but then again I'm not in the US anymore

I am finally getting rid of a bunch of stitches on Monday, though, that I got from surgery a week and a half ago to fix an abdominal hernia.  The worst part, though, is that I still can't work out nor go swimming or do any other exercise for another 2-3 weeks!  If it were winter, then no problem, but especially now in the summer that is just not fair

I would normally be having a BBQ but my family is all at the Cape.
So i will chill out at home.
Maybe i will grill up some hamburgs and hotdogs for me and my grandpa.

I like freaks idea though.
Maybe i will blow up something.

i work for a rental company, so we are busy with tent take downs and set ups......tomorrow (3rd) i have to be in at 5:15 am to get tents taken down and set back up and on the 4th i have to go in to work for 7 am to do the stuff we wont be able to do tomorrow

also, tomorrow at 12 after work i have to go to my buddies old house and help him move to his new house....after that my neighbor is having a cookout

on the 4th after work, my family is having a cook out

a buddy of mine is having his annual party. it used to be a drunkin bash. now that we all have wives and kids it's a bit tamer, though still a blast with lot's of good eatin'.

Tomorrow I have to walk in a parade dressed as Lumiere, the candlestick from Beauty & the Beast (that the show I am currently working on).  The problems is the costume is layers of heavy back velvet and it's suppose to be in the mid-80's with high humidity.  If I survive the parade I will be drinking heavily the rest of the day and on Monday to celebrate.

My family is probably having some kind of small get-together or something on Monday, but that's about it for me.  I'm off work on Monday and Tuesday, so I guess that's the exciting part of my holiday.
