I don't know if this applies to HDTV, but LCD, Projection, and Plasma TVs aren't compatible with light guns.  I've heard that you can run into some problems with light guns and HDTV, so that's why I don't have one.

They work with CRTs though Smiley  

The light guns that are available now will not work with these LCD, Plasma, & Projection sets, but I'm betting this is only a matter of time, and that they will overcome this. Maybe not with rear projection, but I would think with LCD & Plasma you are looking directly at the screen, it should be a way to make these work.

@ VGA  How do you have your DVD player hooked up?

@CFB I have the Silent Scope rifle and it didnt work on my old HDTV  :-/

That sucks!  Light gun games are definitely one of the games I have the most fun with.  Is there a camera in the scope or what?  Cause I know that's how the arcade Silent Scope is.

I dont think so. Seems like a normal ole gun to me. Just one that you can build up.
