What is it with sports team fansites and charging ridiculous amounts of money to view the site?  There is a site called Buck Nuts, for instance, that covers Ohio State recruiting news and gives lots of info on team and season previews.  I'm getting antsy waiting for the football season to start so I'd love to read this site, but it costs like a hundred dollars a year.  I don't even think these people write the articles - I think they just collect them.  I remember looking for Cincinnati Bengals fan sites last year and found the same thing going on there, only it was actually MORE expensive.

Am I the only one who thinks this is ludicrous?

Buck nuts, they're nuts for bucks. Sounds like the opposite of ludicrous to me.
