Frankenstein: The Monster Returns done.

I have never even heard of this game before today, but I took a chance on it and came away pleasantly surprised. It's a pretty decent game. Not great, but it's worth a playthrough.

Beat Anticipation on Hard with three computer players. The CPU in this game can be immensely unfair on the higher difficulties because you'll be trying to guess what the drawing is, and then all of a sudden one of the CPU players jumps in and correctly answers it! That seems to be a typical Rare thing I suppose.

I'm gonna go after some low-hanging fruit and play Sesame Street: Hide and Seek. Heck I'll probably go after the rest of the Sesame Street games to help hit our monthly goal.

Kabuki: Quantum Fighter done.

This is yet another very solid game I'm playing for the first time.

Darkwing Duck done.

I stayed up way too late making this happen, but I didn't want to stop after getting halfway through it. This is a pretty solid game. It has some issues, and this is probably the most frustrated I've been with a game in a while, but it's worth playing.

Dungeon Magic has been taken down! Like I said I really enjoyed this game. It had the right amount of challenge that fringes on frustration and fun. Kinda like Dark Souls. Might be on the lookout for more first person dungeon crawlers on the NES as that was one of the things I enjoyed most about this game. The games magic systemn was interesting as it was based around 5 types of magic. Fairy, Fire, Earth, Wind, and Water. Each one has its set of runes. What is interesting is that for attack spells you can create more powerful spells by inputing runes from the different types of magic. The fighting was also made interesting as you can parry monsters attack by moving/turning away from the monster. If you time it right you won't get hit by their attack. I believe I hit the major things I liked about, I didn't have too much to complain about other than sometimes it can be difficult to get around if you don't choose fairy as your starting spell type. You can cast a spell showing a map of the area. Once you have that though you are good to explore without getting lost. Anyways a great game indeed and a bit of a surprise that I had this much fun with it. Glad I took a chance on it.

My next claim is gonna be Zodas Revenge: Startropics II also my sports game claim has changed from Roger Clemens to Skate or Die.

Ninja Gaiden II done.

I liked this one a little bit better than the first. Just like the first game, it has excellent gameplay mechanics, it's just very frustrating sometimes.

@Boshamp,

I noticed you are playing the first Startropics. I can choose a different game if you have the intention of playing the sequel. Many others to choose from so I don't mind picking something else.

Kick Master done.

This is a pretty fun game, although the last level really tested my patience. It's mostly a straightforward platformer, but it tosses in some interesting RPG mechanics to keep things interesting.

Alright, I think everything is updated to here. Be sure to check your games beaten and claims.

Almost to 200 games beaten!  Who will claim that victory?

Okey doke, I got Big Bird’s Hide and Seek out of the way even though all the games loop endlessly and there’s no way to “win” really. It’s for very young kids so can’t say I was surprised with that.

I’ll go ahead and take down Sesame Street 123 to get down some more low-hanging fruit.

Finished Astyanax tonight. Pretty fun side scroller action game. Not that difficult if you figure out patterns and hit boxes for enemies. I would like to mention the cutscenes are great and the ending is pretty awesome. Although I laughed when I saw the name of the right hand man to the main villain is named Thorndog. LOL

@banana or @crabby, I am going to claim Robocop instead of Startropics II. I want to claim something a little quicker. Sorry, I keep switching up on games.

Sesame Street 123 is done. The last few games in Ernie’s Magic Shapes loop indefinitely so I played each one for a few minutes before moving on.

I’ll take on Sesame Street ABC next.
