There's always this year!!

I've been back at it already and reenergized. Already beaten a few games in 2020 from my personal list that where beaten here by others last year. Gonna try and get to a big personal milestone and then direct my energy at some of the heavy hitters left on our list here (Ikari Warriors, Bump n Jump, Championship Pool, etc).

Gonna kick start 2020 with our first NES completion for Lolo3 which MetalFRO was working through last year. It's a mean game for masochists. Love the first game in the series, and this one did have some great ideas like the overworld, two characters to change between, and boss fights. The puzzles themselves though are just nasty jerk puzzles almost entirely and there are a TON of them. Far too many. Time to play something more fun now!

Lol. Let me know if you decide to give it up. That's one still on my personal list that I could give a go.

Finished Jurassic Park. Had very little to do with the movie, but otherwise wasn't terrible. Some ok music and a few different weapons. Last level was a bit too maze-like for my tastes but otherwise had fun with it.

@douglie - if you stay in the top right corner of the screen during the T-Rex fights he can't actually reach you and you can choose your moments to attack.

Was the t rex attack with both kids the final boss?  I might go back and try that tactic again.

I think just one. As long as you're ranked Captain and have beaten one mission I think the game keeps looping afterwards.

So that's why I've played 6 captain missions in a row.  Okay then let me beat one more for a picture

Ok here is the best end screen I can get for you I guess.  So Star Trek NG done.  I'm going to start Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Wicked Douglie!! I was looking over the list a couple days ago and TMNT was one of the games I couldn't believe we didn't beat last year! The key to Days of Thunder is getting good at the pit stops. The rest of the game you just have to stay awake through the monotony of. The pits are pretty tough though, worst I've encountered in any racing game on the system yet.

I've also been busy working away on my personal NES list, but I finally beat one that we didn't get done over here yet. Spent my last several days putting in mega hours on Bump n Jump and finally snuck out a win last night! It's a very unforgiving game, but not because it's janky or poorly designed, it's just tough. It was actually a pretty enjoyable game despite the difficulty.
