I recently got back into 360. I signed up for live and either I play crappy games or nobody plays anymore:-( anyone still on old live?

Outside of shooters, you're not going to find much of an online community on the fifteen year old Xbox 360.

Provided you're playing 360 games that can be played on the Xbox One compatible games list
You should still be able to find people to play with.
