Man, very few of these come up on E-Bay.  What do you think is a fair price for one?

Not in box, but working.

$75 to $150 depending on what all comes with it.

Original sticks in good shape will run you $35-50 so for a bare bones system with 2 sticks it could be $150+

And if games are part of the lot, expect it to go higher.

But bare bones system, with maybe just a NGCD pad, and possibly generic power supply, you could see $75 range or so..

Most of them come with games though, so once you figure games in at around $20-50 a pop for the cheapies, you end up $200-300 range most of the time.

Still not bad for what you get. And you can always sell off anything you don't want.

And there's really nothing wrong with the Japanese AES consoles,  alot of gamers prefer them, because some games were more graphic in JAP more blood & more bounce on the lay-dees  BUT all in game text (not that there's much in Neo games) will also display in Japanese.  So a few games would be nice to have in US mode, most play fine in JAP.  Alot of modded consoles out now on ebay, Bios mod where you can select bewteen US & JAP, and maybe Euro too, as well as Arcade modes & then change other settings like extra lives & the sort.

Most Jap AES consoles are gonna run you higher on shipping, and most Jap sellers on ebay use EMS at $75+ most likely on a lot that size. It can be pricey getting them over here.
