The rules for this thread are simple: There are none.  Just post your random comments, nonsensical ramblings, or otherwise irrelevant-to-even-itself posts here.  How many responses do you think we can get in this thing?

I don't know about you, but I'm pretty confused.

LCD panels completely own CRTs.

I can't believe you're saying that.  For so long, you stayed smart and stuck with your CRT.....  Now, the dark side has taken you over.

I know, I still don't like the resolution or the price, but the size, clarity, color, and brightness more than make up for it.  There is no better image quality than that of the LCD panel, in its native resolution.  This thing is brighter than ANY CRT that I have ever seen, and it just looks so beautiful.  I am a convert.

Part of the reason I was touting CRT's before hand is that I had really only ever seen LCD's in best buy or circuit city, and they do not run them at the correct res, which makes a huge difference.

Bad bad bad.  Resolution is sooooo important for good image quality.  Once they can handle really high resolutions at a decent price, there will be no question, but until then, I'll stick with this Trinitron flat-screen CRT, thanks.

Shouldn't this be stuck to the top like the old one?

I think I should go get some food and maybe sleep for a little while.  I haven't gotten much sleep at all in the last three days.
