A while back, I mentioned a site called Audioscrobbler here.  The site was set up to track the music you listen to, keep stats, suggest other artists you might like, customized internet radio for every user's profile page, groups, and more.  There were a lot of problems with servers becoming overloaded and their site going down.  There were also several errors where play data got reeeeally messed up.  My profile on the site for example says that I listened to the Ohio State Marching Band 500 times or something.  I have listened to them for sure, but nowhere close to that many tracks.

Anyway, the problems have all been fixed, the site redesigned, etc.  The new site has been going strong and without problems for several months now so I'd say it's safe to say it is stable now.  The link to the new site, Last.fm, is above.  Click it, sign up, etc.  Also, if you do, join the RF Generation group so that you can see what your fellow board members are listening to:

I can vouch for him that the site is working great now.  I don't really use any of the features on the site other than the statistics and reccommendations (although the main reason I'm not using the internet radio is because they don't stream most of the music I listen to anyway), but it's still pretty cool to look at what I've listened to and find patterns and tendencies I didn't notice before.

So does this program list music that you listen should you, say, enjoy the future of rock and roll, or does it have to be MP3 or any other audio file? I installed it, but if it won't track things that I listen to on WOXY then what is the point of this, since I rarely listen non-streams.

I have been using it for a little over a month now.
It is pretty cool.

I was surprised to see that it recognized artists from OCRemix.
