They are also having a sale on all their Game Gear Games...some as low as 49 cents each!!  Yup, they are clearing out their Game Gear stock.  I bought about 30 or so the other day.  The most I paid for any one Game Gear game was 99 cents.

I don't like Game Crazy.  The two near me never have anything that I want, and if they do, it's at ridiculous prices.

The ones around here also throw away the game boxes for used games they get, but still won't give them 4o a collector like me who would buy stuff in their store.  Blech.

I got turned off by Game Crazy the first time I went into one. I stood in line for 15 minutes while the sales guy was crowing about this awesome Xbox sound system they had. Then when I tried to purchase the $3 copy of Wipeout for PS1 in the longbox it took him another 10 minutes to look for the game and never find it.

I have bought stuff from them a few times since but they are an infrequent stop. I had to check for some 99 cent Game Gear games though.

I like game crazy for the older games from the playstation down there pretty good for that but they suck for cd games and such, most look like some dude ran a razor blade through each game before trading it in and then used it as a coaster on the way to the store.

I made a GameCrazy stop to see what GameGear games they may have and found 14 of them, 2 were 49 cents the others 99.  I doubled my GameGear collection for $13.  I may check out others just to see what they may have.

There aren't any Game Crazy's near me, but there's a Game Rush (the Blockbuster equivalent of Game Crazy) not too far, and it sucks.  They used to have tons of Playstation games and a decent amount of random post-NES, pre-PS2 stuff, but now it's almost all next-gen.  Plus, their pricing system is non-existent.  Literally.  I have found two copies of the same game in the EXACT same condition right next to each other with different prices.  Ridiculous.  Also, most of the games they have are no longer in the original cases, but are now in the crappy, crush-the-instruction-booklet (if it even has one), nasty-unsmooth-semi-clear-plastic Blockbuster cases.  A friend of mine actually bought a 15-pack of empty DVD cases so he didn't have to deal with the Blockbuster ones.  And their used Gamecube section is so small that I usually don't even bother to look.

Then again, I have found some pretty good deals there a few times.  I got Star Ocean: The Second Story for $16, and I also got Megaman II for Gameboy for $6.  At least there are a few good things about the crappy pricing system.

Ok so the name of the store is Game Crazy so that's what I did, I went Game Crazy.  I hit a total of 3 stores and picked up 58 Game Gear games, 50 for 99 cents and 8 for 49 cents.  The funny part was in all of the stores the person working didn't know the Game Gear games were marked down, two of them insisted they were part of the 3 for 15 sale.  They were all shocked when they rang them up.  I still have one more store in the area to hit up.
