This actually looks like it may be a pretty good sim game. It's made it on to my wait-and-see list.

Love sim games.  Love football.  I'm not to in to the strategizin' of ANY sport, really, but I'm excited about this game.  It's on my wait-and-see list, too.  Hope it happens.

Maybe if they had a GM or head coach game for hockey  

You would get to take off a ton of seasons for contract management purposes at least.
Then realize after the 2nd or 3rd time that your losing all your fans and do something shitty to get them back!

I'm hoping that they find a way to make it interesting. That's why for me it's a wait-and-see kind of thing.

From one of the interviews I've seen, one of the features of the game is that you'll be able to import your NFL Head Coach team into Madden '07.
