Actually, that sounds a bit exciting compared to my doing nothing over summer vacation. I could use the free time, though. That's not for another two months, though. Meh.

I haven't been on vacation since our honeymoon...almost 10 years ago. We're hoping to do SOMETHING this year.

With the cost of just about EVERYTHING going up, I highly doubt this single dad will be able to afford to do anything this summer.

I doubt i will be going anywhere this year unless i travel with family.
And since i would get way to pissed at my bro in under 2 days of what are generally week long vacations i don't see it happening.
I am just looking forward to hanging out with friends.

Possibly Greece but doubtful. Definitely North Carolina and maybe NYC.

Canoeing trip just two weeks ago.
Colorado Bend State Park in Texas for 3 days in June.
Dallas, TX in June.
A Texas Yoga Institute in July for 9 days.
Maybe a trip to FL or Mexico if I can squeeze it in before school in August.
...I am a travel junkie. Even my counselor suggests I find an alternate plan to be successful in the "real" world (ha).

Towards the end of summer I might visit my friends on Ohio. But I doubt it though. Other than that I think the farthest I'll go will probably be Portland.

Where are you going, me and my girlfriend were thinking of going to Negril this summer, to the Riu there? Link:

We went to the Riu in Playa Del Carmen in Mexico last year, that was quality. Link:

Probably won't end up happening though as my new house is eating in to my savings big time.

I never know where I will be as far as travel goes, but I've heard lately that Ken Lay & his friend Schilling are taking a vacation to JAIL. Big news in Houston.

I;m not going anywhere this year. What with me buying a house, all of my extra cash is going into the house. At least now I'll have a proper game room.
