The Legacy" (1978)  Rated R
Ill-intended people wander around a spooky mansion where a Satanic legacy is about to be handed down to an unsuspecting dupe. Players include Katherine Ross, Sam Elliott, and The Who's lead singer, Roger Daltrey. An enigmatic white cat is featured prominently on the movie poster (in a related story, the puss later went on to star in a documentary about his career, The Kittens Are Alright). Daltrey's acting is somewhat sketchy (he'll never top Tommy) but the song wasn't over  he went on to act quite a bit more and later played a vampire called Vlad in Vampirella.
“Videodrome†(1981)  Rated R
James Woods stars as a sleazy, ratings-hungry cable TV operator who discovers a "snuff TV" broadcast called Videodrome and is eager to get the rights to broadcast it. This David Cronenberg film also stars luscious Blondie front-woman Deborah Harry as a platinum-haired pervert, in her first big film role. The tide may have been high, but she clearly wasn't out of her depth when it came to acting ability. She later went on to appear in horror flicks like Tales from the Darkside: The Movie and Body Bags.
“Love Bites†(1993)  Rated R
Although he had a small role in the 1981 horror film Nomads, Adam Ant stars as a goody-two-shoes vampire in Love Bites. The story begins when he wakes up in his coffin after having overslept for 100 years… and unfortunately, a flesh and blood family is living in the house that was once his. Can they all live (and not live) in harmony? More comedy and fish-out-water than horror, but being a vampire still, er, ‘counts' in my book. Ant stands and delivers in the sexy vamp department.
“The Hunger†(1983)  Rated R
A chic, stylish couple of cool blondes (Catherine Deneuve and David Bowie) teach classical music by day and feed on human blood at night. Miriam, a 2000 year old vampire, gave John the gift of eternal life hundreds of years ago but he's on the outs when she meets the delectable young American, Dr. Sarah Roberts (Susan Sarandon). Bowie does not have a huge role here, but he makes quite an impression. The young dude later went on to star as The Goblin King in The Labyrinth, and has enjoyed several other turns in non-horror movies.
Dracula†(1992)  Rated R
This is one of my favorite films of all time, and there's an added bonus because rock star Tom Waits plays an inspired Renfield. When Dracula (Gary Oldman) makes his way to England, his vermin-eating disciple R.M. Renfield is there waiting for him in Bedlam and singing his praises to anyone who'll listen. And what does he get for all his love and loyalty? Killed. Looks like Renfield got to do the Cemetery Polka, after all.
“Frankenstein Unbound†(1990)  Rated R
This B horror flick has it all: Roger Corman directing, John Hurt and Raul Julia starring, one of the best Frankenstein monsters ever realized, time travel, a talking car ala “K.I.T.T.â€ÂÂ, and Michael Hutchence of INXS got to unleash the devil inside as my favorite poet of all time, Percy Shelley.
“Constantine†(2005)  Rated R
John Constantine (Keanu Reeves, a sometime musician himself) is not only a tortured man vexed by angels and demons, he's also the hated target of half-breeds like Hell's finger-lickin' good foot soldier, Balthazar, played by Bush's Gavin Rossdale. Rossdale is one bad dude in the movie, but he's very nicely dressed and attired (no razorblade suitcase, though). It's a small role, but it's the little things that kill and Rossdale does slay in the acting department.
"Kiss Meets the Phantom of the Park"
Although there are some horror-movie moments in The Who's Tommy, Pink Floyd's The Wall, and Led Zeppelin's The Song Remains the Same, Kiss is the only group that actually acted in a full-on horror movie. Granted, it's a cheesy made-for-TV horror, but what the hey  they rock and roll and nite and party all day so what do you want? Peter Criss (as Cat Man), Ace Frehley (as Space Ace), Gene Simmons (as The Demon) and Paul Stanley (as Star Child) team up to thwart the dastardly plan of a mad scientist to unleash clones and zombies on the world (sounds like your typical Kiss concert audience, but what do I know?).
The Bride" (1985)  Rated R
Although he made his horror-movie acting debut in Brimstone and Treacle, I prefer Sting (of The Police, and solo artist) in The Bride. I must admit, I didn't care for the movie at first (neither did audiences in general… the flick bombed, big time) but now, with perspective, it's actually pretty watchable. While every little thing she does is not magic, Jennifer Beals is tolerable as The Bride; Sting is quite the thing as Dr. Frankenstein; and Clancy Brown (now starring in HBO's Carnivale) is a memorable Monster.
Honorable Mention
Aaliyah in The Queen of the Damned
Alice Cooper in Freddy's Dead
Anjelica Lee Sin Je in The Eye
Bette Midler in Hocus Pocus

How about these:
A Hard Days Night - The Beatles
Help! - The Beatles
Caveman - Ringo Starr
Give my Regards to Broad Street - Paul & Ringo
I know there are other movies with the Beatles, I just don't feel like looking them up right now
