I just had a fun day of nothing.

I got up at 8am to go to my dad's work to pick up a new car. Got to the station at 9.07am, missed the train by a minute. Drove into town to catch the train from there. Got to work fine. I just needed to hang around for about an hour while my dad got things together to go and collect the car from the dealership.

To kill some time I put rivets in holes on some cardboard air-flow calculators. Rivetting. An hour later, dad wasn't ready to go to the dealership, so I carried on with the rivets for another hour. Fun. Then he had to go to a meeting somewhere, so couldn't go to the dealership until later. I stayed in the office where I fixed someone's crappy Norton AntiVirus. That took up the whole afternoon for some reason.

We got a call from the dealership saying the car wouldn't be ready today. Huzzah. So I waited for dad to get back at 4.30pm like he said. At 4.30pm, he called to say it would be 5pm. Then at 5pm he said 6pm. By then it was time for everyone to go home, so I was dumped at the station to meet dad at 5.20pm. I waited in the cold with a damp sandwich from the shop for 40 minutes then dad called and said he would be there at 6.30pm. Terriffic. We eventually got home in a reasonable amount of time. What a shitty day I could have wasted at home where I have stuff I can do.

At least they're paying me £6.50/hr for it. Don't ask why because I don't know.

I have a random thought / question.....

Why is it that on every product we use, be it Toothpaste, White-Out, Video Games, they have have direction listed somewhere.....but, Toilet Paper does not have direction on it anywhere???

What would someone do if they were really dumb and didn't know what TP was for?

Only 8 hour nights.

Yeah, and I'm one of the lucky ones who got the very last exam slot; Saturday 3:30-5:30 PM.

Got to put up the Roof Christmas Lights, so that I don't have to do it tomorrow.
