I guess it matters where you live.  I can get a Wii or PS3 anytime I want.  I just don't want.  The hard thing to find is a cheap Gamecube.

And thats were England must differ. A cheap GameCube, no problem. 100's on E-bay, or in local second hand shops you can pick one up for between £15-£20 unboxed.

My PC is fooked. I think I blew the PSU but it still powers on. I added a new hard drive then decided it was getting kind of hot, so I added another fan. I turned it on and it went to the startup screen with "Press F8 for BIOS" etc but doesn't get past that. I've checked all the connections but the disc drives dont even power on.

It's only 250W...

What's the difference between these two PSUs apart from £20?

It might be time to build a full PC from scratch. Undecided

Also, when I got home from work there was a sloppy, bloody turd on the kitchen floor. When I cleaned it up there was still a black mark on the lino.

I don't really trust offbrand power supplys.

If you are going to build a PC from the ground up then you should get a good solid power supply.

I've had very good luck with Enermax in the past, but Antec is also a very high quality brand.

Here is an Enermax (with a 3-year warranty.)

My God, I'm such a retard. I was looking at the two hard drives and thought they looked different to the way I had them before. So I checked the IDE cable and it was on the wrong way (Don't ask). It's working fine now. dunce

I'm glad the poker I played was with worthless chips. Otherwise I would have had to shoot my way out.

After 4 years I finally found out what the damn RCA connection on the back of my PC is for. It's yellow so I thought it was the "onboard video" my mobo is supposed to have because there's one of them on my graphics card. It turns out it's for digital audio. Would that mean I could get 5.1?

I also found some temperature monitoring software. I thought my hard drives were getting kind of hot... one was 40C and the other was 35C. I turned the extra fan on and after a while they dropped by over 10C.
