I'm pretty sure it is technically a  fall-out shelter. (actually designed that way)  A bunker is a military instillation, where as a fallout-shelter is a civil defense measure.

Baldwin? Zimmer seems the more likely candidate for a bunker, all underground and crap. I guess there a bit many windows though.

I keep having problems with bloody Zone Alarm and MSN whenever I reinstall Zone Alarm. It's usually fine after I change a simple setting but as far as I can see I've got it all set up the way it should be.

I had problems with ZA all the time on the old laptop. Glad it's gone now, but McAfee is an overall bigger pain in my ass.

on a completely related note... I feel like watching "Gleaming the Cube".

I changed to ZoneAlarm 7 and there aren't any problems now.

Zimmer is where freshman go to die. Baldwin is where engineers go and are never seen again.

Let my tell you about my father.

The man was born in the side of a mountain.  Literally.  I've been there.  The house he was born in was dug out from the side of a mountain, with stone walls (It was illegal to use mortar, even if there was any) and a thatch roof.  The house he grew up in was no better.

He was almost exicuted when he was a  little boy (he was the youngest).  My uncle was taken as a political prisoner when Tito was in power.  My dad's mother walked with him for days (while he was just a little boy mind you) to beg for my uncle's life.  They were told that they too would be killed too if they didn't leave.  My uncle was later executed.  I've seen his name on the memorial in a graveyard.

He didn't know what electricity was until the age of 13.  My family was poor.  He was the youngest, and considered the hope of the family.  My uncle (another one) saved up money for my father to go to college.  When the time came, the money they were able to save was next to nothing.  My uncle, being so distraught that my family will never amount to anything took the money and went drinking in a bar to drown his sorrows.  A man there noticed him crying, and asked him what is wrong.  My uncle explained the situation.  The man told him that he he works at the college in Zagreb.  They would help with the tuition as long as my dad was the best student in the class.  If not, then they would not help him.

In college, my dad had nowhere to sleep.  He made money for food by tutoring, and would stay there the night.  Everything he owned, he kept with him in his jacket.  He graduated head of his class.  After college, he did the grounding for high voltage lighting for the film industry in Croatia.  There were a couple famous movies that he worked on.  None of which I can recall the names for.

He was eventually able to move to the states.  Well Canada actually.  He wasn't able to get into the states right away.  He worked at the power plant in Toronto (if memory serves correct) until he could get into the US.  Afterwards he designed numerous motors and other related patents.  Most of them for the aerospace industry.  His greatest was the fuel pump for the B1 bomber.  He has others on the Air Force 1 and a couple military helicopters.

He started a winery as a hobby around the time when he met my mom (She is/was his second wife.  They are divorced but kind of live together, but not really.  Its weird).  His motor company was going under.  He borrowed 2,000 dollars from her to buy an old 1940's ford N9 tractor (still in use today).  This is about the time I come into the story.  I happened as an accident, which caused my parents to get married.  I think my mom was 8 months at the time, As the story goes, my room as a child was my father's old reel to reel porn room.  The same room I was conceived in.

At the age of 72, my father works full time at his winery.  About 8 months ago we started selling our wine in 4 local Biggs.  We are the top selling wine in every 10 that we sell in now.  He also is pulling some strings, and is getting me an interview at Siemens.  As in “18th biggest company in the world” Siemens. I called the guy today to get things rolling after my dad called yesterday and the guy kept saying “anything for you Kreso.  I'll even go over your resume and help you out before I send it to my boss.”

I could not ask for a more amazing father.  He has done so much since I've come into the picture.  Only hearing about the things he has done before doesn't do it justice.

Sounds like quite the badass. We need more men like him in this country. I say we ship all the soft upper class to Croatia and bring all the Croatians here. That'd toughen us up.

According to your cousin your family has Spartan Lineage. Why not just go back in time and pick up your ancestors? Sure, it might alter the fabric of time, but could you imagine a world without Mike? Simply astonishing.
