The Wii is helping people excersise and the 360 is helping hackers get money.

Good news everyone. Canada and the UK are ranked 2 and 3 in terms of countries visiting RFG.

Congrats go to Tan and the_wizard_666 for placing them at second.
James, Andy, and Alabama-Shrimp, nice job yourself too.
Quite worryingly, I expect it's mostly me. Looking at the forum stats, I've spent the second most amount of time online. Shocked

And Holy crap! I've got 840 posts!

Damn, I didn't know that you passed UNFORGIVINGPAIN.
Don't worry though, I still got you by a day and a half.

Too bad I am spending an exorbitant amount of time on the test site rather than the live site nowadays, otherwise my stats would likely be higher.

My (roomate's) PLAYSTATION 3 is helping to fight Alzheimer's, Mad Cow (BSE), CJD, ALS, Huntington's, Parkinson's disease, and many Cancers and cancer-related syndromes with Folding@Home. What's your 360 and/or Wii doing to help contribute to society? That's what I thought. Wink

My PC is doing the same thing, I have 28 Work Units finished since my last reformat.

Download this program, help cure many noncommunicable diseases.

Since we didn't spend so much on a Wii and 360 we can afford to donate money to those causes.

You all still need to go here and download Folding@Home for your computer.

This needs to be over RIGHT NOW.  I swear to god, if I could do anything to make it go faster, I would.

I've been doing a mixture of the same, with a bit of site work and frisbee golf thrown in.

I use SETI@home on my laptop.  Now I think about it, I have a linux box that just sits there that could help too.

I used to use SETI@home, and then I realized that Folding@home will get meaningful results much quicker.

Don't get me wrong, I believe the theory of infinity which applying it states that there is guaranteed life somewhere else out there, but it may take millenia to find it.
