Rough day at work, we patched 5 tons of hot mix blacktop before lunch on a busy road.  Thankfully the truck drivers left after lunch, so we took it easy in the afternoon and only did an extra 2 tons of cold mix.

I had a bit of a crap attack this morning. I drove dad 40 miles to Oxford and left him there for a business meeting. Mum's bringing him back this evening because she works there. I got home, put my hand in my pocket and realised dad had taken my door keys. Bugger. I couldn't call him because his phone was switched off. So I called mum who said I could go get her's. I sat down in the car to drive back there and I was about to click my seatbelt in when I saw the keys in the centre pocket. Phew.

I checked my bank account because it's payday. I've been waiting for payments and credits to sort themselves out, with available amount being different to displayed amount. It turns out I have £70 more than I was expecting. Grin

I finished my last cig about 3 hours ago.

I promised to quit smoking if and when Aubrey did.
We decided yesterday we were going to split the last 3 packs.

Wish me luck... she has been smoking much longer than me so it will probably be harder for her...

Yea and right now i really really wish i had some.
I could use one right now.

Or a drink. But i have to be to work in a couple hours and don't really want to go in shitfaced.
Especially since as it is i am going to have to either walk there in the rain or taxi there.
