Couldn't sleep.
Got breakfast, drove to the beach and watched the electrical storms.

Also the end result is pretty cool looking.

I wonder if they doped her up.

It is, but I thought it was just a tattoo at first.  Had the other pictures not been there I wouldn't have known.  And they had to give her something.

Did anyone else wonder how much that would hurt in a shower?  (For the rest of her life!)    And what type of infections is she gonna have to constantly ward off with that kind of an open wound?  Like I said before, I will never understand it.

Wouldn't it scab over after a day or 2?

The skin won't heal properly but it will come back. and probably look like shit once it starts trying to recover more over time.

You can do things to keep a wound from healing, which is what I guessed this person would do.  Otherwise it won't look as good.  But I guess the pattern will still be there if it 'heals'.

Speaking of 'recovering'... what's this going to look like when she is 80?

Roads don't fail from lightning.

But going back to your original comment about having shit together, I would argue that the rolling blackouts California has would be evidence to the contrary.

I guess I'm lucky on the CompE side of things, if our stuff burns out after two years no one cares, its replaced after 6 months.  :-)
