When was the last time you were in a hospital?  I can see how this would happen.

It depends on how many people were in that room, and how often the turnover rate was in that room.  (If a person is only in the room for 5 to 10 minutes, then they wouldn't notice a person there for 17 hours, just 10 minutes.)

but im talking about the nurses and md who are going in and out of the room all day. but usually they are too absorbed with some other patient to realize about someone in the waiting room so i guess i see how it could happen but its just one of those things that  common sense would think is very unlikely. thats like someone sitting dead on a bench in time squar on new years

It's more likely than you'd think, really. Ever been to a hospital when someone was in surgery or in the delivery room? They prolly spotted the guy and just figured he'd been there a while an passed out. Happens all the time. Still it's fucked up that due died at the hospital all like that.

Man, I love not having national health care and having to pay for everything, it makes me feel all warm and patriotic inside.

When I crashed m y Kawasaki KMX 125 back in '93, I got taken to hospital, and patched up and stuff, x-rayed, stiched up, given pain killers etc etc

the fuckers billed me £20 for the ambulance, under some tory "road traffic accident clause" needles to say, I never paid it.,
