There might be a slim change that it will release but I don't think it will see the light of day. 3D Realms seems to think it will still release but they have taken all footage off of there website: http://www.3drealms.com/duke4/.  You guys have any reasoning as to why this has taken so long/won't be released?

I've heard the name 'Duke Nukem' before, but have no knowledge about the games/systems it's been on.

I have to say I've never heard of "Forever" either and can't even remember the last time I played Duke.  :/

Duke Nukum Forever... will be in development forever... "development."  Meaning it's just rumors at this point, I'm pretty sure.  Meh.

Though honestly, I'd like to see what they've gotten done at this point.  Play it if possible.  And laugh.  it should be pretty funny.

a year ago i would have said never, but now that 3dRealms has put out Prey after 10 years or so and that they plan on a Prey sequel, the chance is a helluva lot better than it was now that they are actually making some decent games.
don't forget that there's been like 2-3 Duke games since zero hour so it's not like the series has been dead, more like waiting for a game engine that'll stick around for a bit  Roll Eyes

I don't think it ever will be released. But I have heard more about it in the last year than ever before. So, if they are going to release it, it will probably be soon.
