I'm thinking about it. PS3 and Xbox 360 are not for me. I will definitely buy a Wii. I just don't know if I will buy one at launch.

Umm... this poll is currently a moot point, as stateside you can't preorder it yet, although gamestop and eb preorders apparently start tomorrow, and are extremely slimey in the way they are doing it. Trade in 50 dollars worth of stuff to get a Wii reservation. If that is truly the case, and no one else does preorders, I'll be camping out for one.

I never pre-order anything and I never have bought a system when it's first released either. No, I take that back, I did buy a Sega CD.

Well, seeing my journalistic skills are just awesome I assumed EB Games and Gamesuck were going to allow you to pre-order the day the date and price is launched.  If what you say it true that is fucking bullshit.  I hate them two stores.  Any other stores doing pre-orders?  You want a new poll?

I have never bought a system at launch and never will. I may not even buy a Wii, PS3 or Xbox 360.

Nah, Just in the interim I don't think any American's will be saying I preodered one, unless they were one of the lucky bastards that got one in to Amazon in the short instant it was up.

Oh and about that GameStop thing, here is the apparent ad:

stores are going to be cautious in taking preorders on any system, due the 360 debacle last year.  the trade in clause at gamEBstop is actually fairly savvy, as used game sales are the chains bread and butter.  but i pretty much avoid that place most of the time anymore and have become a fairly loyal gamecrazy shopper.

gamecrazy has yet to announce any details on how it will handle the wii, but thanks to nintendo launching the wii on a sunday, camping/hanging out on saturday night at gamecrazy aint a bad idea whatsoever.  it will be easy for them to remain open an extra two hours for a console launch, and if i cannot get one at midnight, i will camp out at a box store until it opens on sunday morning

BRILLIANT!!

I'm in no hurry for any new systems. I'm happy with the current gen trio and the 360.

The poll should be will you ever pre order ANYTHING from EB Games ^^
I hate them, as back when I had my Nomad I ordered a whole bunch of games and got nothing... it safer trusting some stranger on eBay.

158 Saturn games from eBay, and only ever got ripped twice, 1st time ordering from EB Games ripped.
So lets look at this mathematically.

If we go by an average, it would suggest that
2/158 = 3.16% chance of getting ripped off by eBay.
1/1 = 100% chance of getting ripped off by EB Games
