50 pounds for 960 mint genesis boxes isn't so bad. Too bad you have to take out that game first.
Does the cartridge have the same freaky size as the mega drive electronic arts games?

Man, thats nuts. How could you first obtain, and then hold onto so many copies of NHL 96 for the freakin genesis for Mephisto's sake?

They are so shiny.
What do you think would happen if you did buy all those and then carted them over to the local gamestore for trade in?

My guess is that the store owner would take one look at all of those games and his head would cause an explosion so brilliant, we could see it over on our side o' the pond.

Could be a long-term piggy bank for you over eBay or something.

There's a guy in the Netherlands selling big lots of Atari carts and I've thought about investing (this is one example of several):

I bought them in the end for £50. that's just oover 5pence (£0.052) per game

got free transport arranged, and the vendor has agreed cash on collection. Smiley Getting them Thursday week.

What are you going to do with them seriously though? Turn them back out and try to make a profit?

Actually, I bought a second pallet from him, for another £50, and I am giving my friend £50 towards diesel (fuel is expensive here) and the extra weight will be a problem. The collection has now been firmly arranged.

so, I am spending £150 to get 1,920 games.

7.8 pence per game or £1.87 per box of 24.

I shall try to sell them in various ways;
by the box, at around £5 per box on eBay
trade some in at a Gamestation
put them in a public auction
selll some singly when there is a free listing day on eBay
sell some at a car boot sale

etc etc

and I will throw some games away, and re-use the cases for my own collection
.

Give them out as christmas gifts to collectors you aren't too fond of but want to stay on good terms with. Or throw in a "free NHL 96 with purchase"...hehe

Was the second pallet that you bought NHL '96 as well, or was it another game?

Either way this is the coolest thing ever!
