I'd be willing to donate like $10 bucks or something...I'm sure a lot of others would donate a little something too.  If it means no more slow ass site and getting everything working properly!...that is... Wink

hehe i tried to make a thread about doing this and the forum kept shitting to bed on me, then i seen your post and tried to respond it shit to bed some more.

So yeah for a site i love and use daily i'd donate towards a good webhost in a second, put me down for $50, what's one less game in exchange for having a great community and collection tools to track everything i have, and a site i visit several times a day?

We think our host is currently having serious issues with the mySQL server, and in their infinite wisdom of pretty much knocking our site offline perhaps they've realized that, I don't know, I'd make a they are from Kentucky joke but I don't want to offend PopCulturePortal Tongue (It's a joke, don't take it too seriously, we love all states here at RF Generation).

We'd really like to keep our current model going, one that doesn't require our members contributing money into the fold, and we hopefully will be able to continue to do that. I won't know what's going to happen until we see what the outcome of our database is, but I thank you for the offers, and my graphics driver just died in my instance of Caesar IV.

This is a major bummer. Good thing the forum this works.
I thought it was dead too since the login on the main page was gone.

Anything that requires a scripting language and database on the front page has been disabled. Once we get back the database the Includes will be back.

My suggestion is one of those PayPal donation buttons right underneath  the menu bar on the right.
That way any of us can contribute and help fund RF Generation's survival.

Watch your mouth!  Grin

Anyway, I think the PayPal donate button thing is a good idea.  I'd be willing to donate some electronic funds...

Wait...Kentucky ISN'T a state...it's a commonwealth! Wink

You can use my pay-pal account for your button.

Well being a strapped for funds college inmate all I can offer is my blade, free of charge.

When I read last night that it would cost money to move to a better server I thought I wouldn't mind donating something like $20 every now and then. It won't be soon because I've got various different things going in and out of my bank account, and I need to wait for it to settle.
