Overall I think the list is surprisingly good, if not a bit too mainstream. I would have loved to see Donkey Kong Country 2 or Gunstar Heros and some other old classics on the list, but overall I was quite surprised to say the least.

Meh - I think it's kinda crappy.

It was made by people that only play certain games.

I'm surprised by the top 10, I thought it was *pretty* good, could have been better, but I thought the rest were meh. It seemed pretty skewed to the current / soon to be the last generation.

These lists will never please most people...I mean, there are sooo many great games that have been made in the last...25+ years that it's impossible to break it down to which is best.  It would be better if they didn't # the games...just top 100 all time in no order...

Did I miss it, or was there a complete absence of anything Genesis.  I didn't even see a Sonic game on the list.  List should have been name "Top 100 Games made by Nintendo, Konami, and Sony".

The list seems like it was made by kids born after 1990.  Half were Six-gen games and not one Atari games.  Smackdown 2006 was rank above Super Mario Bros speechless.

In cases like this I think it would be better to release a list without rank.  There is no way to make everybody happy, but it gets much much harder when ranks are involved.

I have seen much worse lists. This one was pretty good.

I would have been so pissed if Perfect Dark was ranked higher than GoldenEye.

And where was the Mortal Kombat???
lol

There was a very limited console representation though....

RFgeneration's top 100 games of all time. Who made this list? Jeez, it has my hero at place 1, who even played that?

IGN readers need to get off my lawn.

Metal Gear Solid at number 10  no

At least there was plenty of SNES love.

Hmm, I thought there had to be three ratings before the game would show up in the top 100, but Bangai-O has only 2... hmm...

I'll go on a limb and say that the people who made this list are the people that would purposefully bomb a title so it wouldn't rank high on the list anymore. Not naming names, but some people really have it out for Nintendo games.

I coulda sworn Gunstar Heros, Phantasy Star II and Sonic 2 were on the list, but maybe I'm thinking of a previous year's edition.
