wow.
thats all i can say....wow.
never would think someone would kill for a ps3, this is crazy.  wonder how many got jacked for their wii.

actualy, i'm surprised there's been no reports of public lewd acts involving the wii.  seriously, there's so much room for them.  guys playing with their wii in public, having their girlfriends, their sisters, and posibly their own mothers playing with it.  in public, where everyone can see.

That shit completely happens all the time about something or the other. Don't go making yourself believe Sony is spawning masses of crime by releasing a console.

While I'll agree that it's not Sony's fault for simply releasing a console, it is a console that costs SIX HUNDRED DOLLARS!!!  Shocked

all that shit for some machine that plays games and in a few year somehitng better will come out so it was all pointless.

Uh, you want to clear out your desk and leave this website now? Isn't this a website for collectors of those kind of machines? Or am I mistaken?

Yes, this is a website for collectors, but for INTELLIGENT collectors, not for morons beating each other for an over-priced hunk of wires...just my two-cents! Grin

Yes this is all right and yes this site might be for collectors and you knew exactly what i meant by saying that, When it all comes down to it its nothing that special and you have to be a retard to shoot someone for a lump of plastic.

this seams to be the new disease in the world if i want it and you have it then im going to take it and if i get in to trouble for it i will blame a bad experience from my childhood or some other crap like that

This happened in my town

Two Sullivan men who bought Playstation 3s on Friday became the victims of what police said was an attempted robbery.

Andrew Templeton, 20, and David Wiggins, 28, brought their systems home after waiting 36 hours at Wal-Mart, then were followed home, according to the Associated Press.

Dylan Moss, 19, of West Terre Haute and Dustin Fagg, 19, of Terre Haute allegedly approached the men with a chain and a tire iron when they were unloading their systems from the car. Wiggins grabbed a knife in the ensuing scuffle.

After the fight, Wiggins had a broken nose and Moss was listed in critical condition after undergoing surgery in Union Hospital from a stab wound.

Prosecuter Bob Springer plans to charge Moss and Fagg with felony robbery, he said. No arrests were made as of Friday afternoon.

The Associated Press contributed to this story.

I guess that is one of the bright sides of living right on the border of Detroit.  Chances are, the people that are waiting in line are bigger thugs than you'll ever be, so trying to rob them would only turn out badly for you.

Criminals helping end crime!  Madness!

New disease? What's the difference between fighting over a hunk of plastic to a hunk of gold? Or oil, a woman even? Don't say it's stupid for someone to shoot someone over a PS3, say it's stupid to shoot someone period. People have been killing each other for money and other possessions since the dawn of time. You can't single out a single thing if you want to make the remarks you're making. What you need to do is broaden your horizon, become a nihilist or something, I don't know. Just don't act like no one ever shot anyone for something before the PS3 was released.

People buy thousand dollar+ appliances every day and you know what? This probably happens on occasion, the reason we're hearing about it with the PS3 is that 400,000 of them just hit the stores and were bought all at once. It's because they're being called SO expensive all these wannabe gangstas are like "hey, that's easy money" when it'd be just as easy to hold someone up at an ATM. Retards. In anycase, I blame all you ZOMG IT COSTS MORE MONEY THAN ANYONE HAS EVAR HAD! people for this. If you had just let it be released none of this would have happened. Wink

I love console launches. To hell with the consoles. I usually hang out down at Wal-Mart or something just to see if any rioting breaks out.

Dylan Moss one of the attackers is in critical condition.  The owner of the ps3 wrested the knife from him and tore him up.  My wife has been taking care of him at the hospital.

Letting him die wouldn't be punishing him for his stupidity. Let him rot in prison and realize every day what a dumbass he is.

Just my $.02.
