My girlfriend left me today while I was at work, as well as me being left with her bills...
So I'm considering parting with my Saturn collection to get rid of the bills and because she had help me build the collection at times. I have 3 Saturn's, the main one is a white Video CD Saturn, modified with switches at the front so it can run any region games and play them at 50 or 60Hz.

Many official controls, light guns, even a arcade racer and bomber-man multi-tap.

For a complete list and my artistic image I took of the 3 Saturns a little while back check out

At this point I am just wondering what people would be willing to pay.

Sorry to hear about the girlfriend, hopefully it will be for the better.  Good luck selling the collection.

I wont deny that I'd be very tempted to get new saturn stuff.  Heck, I could go for some AV cables more then any new games or controlers.

That said, it sucks that she left like that.  The least she could do is be upfront with you about how she felt and why she wanted out of the relationship.

AV cables? I'll take a look for ya, I got all sorts of Saturn stuff.

Also thank you all for your kind words.

Problem with the bill part is that they had a cool special, get a second mobile under your existing one for half price.
So even though her name is on the number, the money comes from my account.  She normally would give me the money, then I put it in my account, this worked well since my bill last month was $51 and hers was $214. She has family over in New Zealand you see.

Just in case, I cancelled her phone contract after this event, and had to pay a big termination fee,  $475, that plus probably around another $200 since that's about the average (our currency sucks compare to the UK and the US don't forget). This will all come out at the beginning of next month, so you can see my predicament.

Over 600$?  I think I just puked a little.  That's not a small amount in the states, atleast not to me.  Those cables, they can wait untill you have the time.  I've waited over half a year to be able to play my new games, I can wait longer.  Though I realy want to play me some donpachi and dodonpachi someday.  Those look to sweet to ignore.

You might see if they can set you up with a payment plan on the cancel fee and all.  That would be better than giving up your nice saturn collection.

Good idea Ghost Soldier, thanks for suggesting it.

I'll still see if I've got a spare AV cable and hold onto them until I know I safely have enough to ship them.
I know I have at least 1RF, 1AV, and 1S-video, but wouldn't be surprised if I have doubles since the white Saturn had all the accessories when I got it, and it's my newest, so if it had a AV cable I've got a spare since I normally use AV cables.

dude that sucks. i had that happen once. i kept trying to call her while i was at work and got no answer. then she didnt pick me up from work, that really sucked. then when i got home all her shit was gone and so was half of mine.  hope yours wasnt that bad. but dude i feel for you.

keep the collection. no piece of ass is worth losing what you worked for. all else fails pay as much as you can and if they shut your phone off just keep paying and they will turn it back on when its paid up. i've been low on funds beofore but never gave a game up. hold on to it.... you worked for it.

You're my hero. Vanilla Ice RULES! I can't believe that there is another SERIOUS Vanilla Ice fan on this site. The special edition DVD should be called "Cool As Ice: Drop That Zero Edition".

Thanks for the advice DreamCaster,
fortunately while she wouldn't answer the phone she only took her own stuff. She was a nice honest girl for the most part, witch might actually make it all the worse. Had she stolen stuff, I could get more pissed at her and get over what happened easier. Good bit though is the bill has come in, and she had actually cut her share of the bill down by about $50. So in a tight situation like this, that really helped.

I want to thank you for offering me a set of cables for my saturn, but as of today I wont be needing them anymore.  After over half a year, my friend finaly gave me my saturn cables back.  Finaly, I can play my saturn again.
