What, that phrase is older then the youngsters you speak of!!!  I first heard it on a trip to England way back in the mid-80s.

Nope, never heard of it.  We always just called it bar hoping.  Of course I never knew what a "pub" was until I got to college and gots me sums edumacation.  Wink

Pub-crawls are common-place here in England. Pub-crawls usually entail a big night out, usually all lads, drinking in as many pubs as possible. Other terms used over here are an "all-dayer" or if going to a town other than yours for the pub crawl is known as a "rideout".

My next pub-crawl will be on pay day on 26th Jan, and I will be sampling the delights of Accrington.
